Beginning Medicine Making

Enjoy a morning of medicine making! Join Clinical Herbalist Julie Peachtree to learn the basic techniques for making herbal teas, decoctions, syrups, and tincture. This is a great place to start if you are new to herbalism and don't know where to begin, or are more experienced and want to put your knowledge into action. Learn vocabulary, equipment needed, a few basic recipes, and tips and tricks for how to make herbal medicine in your kitchen. Participants will make and get to take home herbal medicine. Gain the knowledge you need to begin building your own home apothecary. 

Accessibility: Class will be held at the Golden Poppy classroom space. Private bathrooms available. Participants need to be able to climb a flight of stairs.
